About the designer: Jennifer Ohama
Ohama Couture was established by Jennifer Ohama in 2000, the year her daughter was born. Influenced by her mother’s penchant for fashion, Jennifer began to design. In a short time, with her background in marketing, her passion project developed into a thriving global fashion business.
The company is now operated by Jennifer’s family of four generations of women from central Pennsylvania including her now 22 year old daughter, Ava-Lauren, mother and grandma who is soon turning 100!
Ohama Couture creates luxury apparel and travel-boudoir accessories using silks and fabrics from the 1940’s to present day. Many are handed down from Grandmother’s closet along with other vintage finds curated from the family’s global travels.
After moving to Southern California in 2017, Jennifer continued to grow the brand. She enjoys traveling to meet clients face-to-face and to find perfect locations for the brand’s presence.

Ohama Couture works one-on-one with every client to find the perfect fit. Each piece takes on a personality of its own, surely making a one-of-a-kind heirloom that spans all generations.
The company’s signature trademark is unique versatility. The collection includes denim and suede jackets, blazers, Oxford blouses and silk tops; and, a travel-boudoir collection of silk pillows, sleep masks, millinery, French lavender pillow mists, protective face masks and hair twillies, creating the ultimate limited edition gift sets.
